Before Starlink, builders, electricians, installers, and low voltage technicians have typically set most of your service wiring to accommodate a southern service connection. Generally all your low voltage utilities are generally located in the same location. Starlink however has a completely new set of criteria to work well. Starlink needs to see open sky to the North (352 degrees NWN to 0 degrees N). How do you work around this? 

The answer: Begin by understanding the home/building.

During your installation our Technicians will determine where your Starlink dish need to be installed based on the following criteria;

1. What locations ensure the least amount of obstructions?

2. How well will the Starlink dish fair in the snow?

3. Are we minimizing the amount of wind exposure?

4. Can we mount the dish to the facia or other structural component of the home/building or is a roof or pole mount a better option?

5. How well will the Starlink router's Wi-Fi signal propagate and is a mesh network needed?

6. Is the cable length staying under 150 feet?

7. Are we meeting the projects budget?
